Nine Gentians met at\u00a0Ynysmarchog Bunkhouse near Trecastle on Friday 15th July.<\/p>\n

Saturday dawned with good promise so we set off south towards Glyntawe by car then headed out to climb\u00a0Carmarthen Fan to include Fan Hir, Fan Brycheiniog and Picws Du.<\/p>\n

The weather was appalling! Heavy rain, 20 metre visibility and strong winds were the order of the day making navigation very difficult. We completed the twelve mile route, led by Phil (many thanks), by 4:30 PM with a welcome pint at Tafarn-y-Garreg.<\/p>\n
