A weekend of contrasts as on Saturday the weather denied us the hills. 50-60 mph winds, very heavy rain and low cloud was provided for the group of five. Phil was leading on Sunday for another group albeit\u00a0the wind had dropped rain and cloud persisted near Llanberis. This\u00a0walk,\u00a013 miles\u00a0and 3500 ft, above the\u00a0Sychnant Valley after Tal y Fan, turned out to be a good day.<\/p>\n
