A weekend of contrasts as on Saturday the weather denied us the hills. 50-60 mph winds, very heavy rain and low cloud was provided for the group of five. Phil was leading on Sunday for another group albeit the wind had dropped rain and cloud persisted near Llanberis. This walk, 13 miles and 3500 ft, above the Sychnant Valley after Tal y Fan, turned out to be a good day.
