Walking in the Peak District
Having successfully navigated the wedding party at the adjacent Ilam Hall YHA, the group settled in at the very comfortable NT bunkhouse. On Saturday most routes involved the stepping stones at nearby Dovedale while one party ranged further afield and made the now traditional return by headtorch. Despite this all were ready when the time came for transport to the Coach and Horses at nearby Fenny Bentley. There an excellent three course meal was enjoyed before a presentation on arctic exploration.
