Gentians on Skye May 2017 – The Talisker Coast

In May 2017, the Gentian Mountaineering Club spent a week in the Bunkhouse next door to the Old Inn in Carbost, Isle of Skye.

On the first day, our intrepid leader took as on a short (he said) walk to Talisker Bay and back along the coast. After 25k and much road walking later we crawled back into Carbost with a decidedly grumpy demeanor ready for our dinner.

Well at least it wasn’t raining and the view of the Black and Red Cuillin on the way back to Carbost was fantastic.
