A few pics below (click ‘Read More) from the Feb 2018 Gentian Scottish Winter meet. First day was training event with Steven Fallon Mountain Guiding. Thanks to the guides, John King and David Buckett, for some excellent training in avalanche risk, ice-axe braking and crampon use. Skills learned or refreshed were put to good use for the rest of the week on the local peaks, mostly in good weather.
